Kirby Plastic Surgery was founded by Dr. Emily J. Kirby, Fort Worth's preeminent board-certified female plastic surgeon, with a vision to offer patients world-class surgical results delivered with warmth, precision, and an unwavering commitment to safety. A high school valedictorian, Dr. Kirby earned her undergraduate degree with honors from Vanderbilt University before completing her MD at Texas A&M University College of Medicine on early admission. She trained through a rigorous six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky — a Level I trauma center — and completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah. She made history as the first female Chief of Plastic Surgery at Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist Hospital, Fort Worth's largest hospital.

Dr. Kirby built her practice around the belief that every patient deserves a personalized experience — one that begins with listening and ends with results that feel authentically their own.
